WHAT ARE THE CHECK IN/CHECKOUT TIMES OF THE HOTEL?
Check in is available from 3pm onwards. Check out is 12pm. Late check outs can be arranged at a cost of €25 per additional hour and can be arranged with reception.
IS ID REQUIRED ON CHECK IN?
Yes. ID is required upon check in and must match the name on the reservation. Passport or drivers licence accepted. Reservations cannot be amended at check in unless ID is provided by the booker.
CAN I LEAVE MY LUGGAGE IN RECEPTION IF I ARRIVE BEFORE CHECK IN?
Yes, we can store your luggage if you arrive to the hotel before 3pm; there is no charge for this service.
WHERE IS THE HYDE HOTEL LOCATED?
We are located on Forster Street, Galway City, just a stroll from Eyre Square. We are just around the corner from the Bus Station, Train Station and the new Coach Station.

HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?

If a booking is made direct on our website and you wish to pay in advance please contact our team to be sent a payment link, for secure prepayment by email email@example.com. You can also call us on (091) 564111.
HOW DO I BOOK USING A VOUCHER?
To book using a gift card or voucher please have your voucher number to hand and contact our Reservations team on (091) 564111. You can also email your enquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org. Your voucher will be required on check in as a method of payment.
DO YOU HAVE PARKING AROUND THE HOTEL?
Our recommended car park is operated by City Park Fair Green Road, which is conveniently located behind the hotel. Hotel residents can avail of this car park for a fee of €12 for 24 hours. The hotel is just under a five minute walk from the pedistrian exit on Fairgreen Road. You can see a map of the hotel and car park here.
DO YOU HAVE WIFI?
Yes, wifi is free for all guests and available in all bedrooms and throughout the hotel.
DO I NEED A CREDIT CARD TO MAKE A RESERVATION?
Yes, we require a credit card or debit card for all reservations. This guarantees your room until your arrival date. Your card will not be charged until you arrive at the hotel, unless we require a security deposit prior to arrival (group bookings only). If you cancel your reservation outside our cancellation policy, you will be charged for the first nights stay.
WHAT IS HYDE HOTEL'S CANCELLATION POLICY?
We require 24 hours notice to cancel a room free of charge. If you cancel your reservation outside our cancellation policy, you will be charged for the first nights stay. This applies to bookings made directly on our hotel website, or bookings made over the phone. Our cancellation policy for The Galway Race Festival is 7 days. For third party bookings, please consult the website.
HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION FOR A LARGE GROUP? (HEN PARTY, STAG PARTY, SPORTS CLUB ETC.)
Group reservations may have different rates and booking requirements. To request a reservation for your group or for more information, please contact our reservations team on (091) 564111 or email email@example.com.
WHAT SECURITY DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED FOR GROUP BOOKINGS?
A security deposit of €25 per person, up to a maximum of €400 will be required for all group bookings of 10 guests or more. Please note this is in addition to the bedroom costs. Our reservations team will contact you 7 days before your check in date to take the full payment for bedrooms/meals/security deposit and to request rooming list.
DOES THE HYDE HOTEL ACCEPT PETS?
We accept licensed service animals only.
IS THE HOTEL WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
The hotel is fully wheelchair accessible. We have many accessible bedrooms available, with wet rooms. To book this room type please call reservations directly on (091) 564111.
WHAT IF I LEFT AN ITEM BEHIND?
Please contact reception on (091) 564111 and we will check lost property for your item.
HOW CAN I MAKE A SPECIAL REQUEST REGARDING MY STAY?
To request a camp bed, travel cot, wheelchair accessible room, and balcony or for any other requests, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We are unable to guarantee your request but will do our very best to accommodate you when possible. If you have specific needs or questions regarding your request, please call the hotel directly on (091) 564111.
LOOKING FOR SOMETHING EXTRA?

CAN I REQUEST A SMOKING ROOM?
Please be aware that all bedrooms at the HYDE Hotel are non-smoking. The hotel respectfully requests that hotel guests do not smoke in the rooms and instead use the dedicated outdoor smoking area. Anyone found to be smoking or having smoked in a non-smoking room will be subject to a fine of €100.

DO YOU OFFER A LAUNDRY SERVICE?
Yes, we do provide a laundry service. Guests at HYDE Hotel can avail of our laundry service by contacting our main reception Monday - Friday.
Guests are encouraged to bring laundry to the main reception before 8am or the evening before for same day return on standard wash and fold service. Pricing for the standard service is weight dependent. Dry cleaning options also available, pricing is item dependent.
